When I was in New York this January it kept snowing and ruining my shoes. Winter this year was particularly harsh. Feeling the icy wind in my hair, watching a blizzard while stuck inside the house, putting on and then taking off several layers of clothing, having my fingers get so numb outside I couldn't grip anything. LOVE! I will never, ever take that for granted again. Because now that I am in this inferno where it will be 91 degrees with 89% humidity every single day. Every. Single. Day.
